A Truly Unforgettable Experience!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday with a wonderful lunch at Terra Chã Panorâmico, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The ambiance and location are truly breathtaking, offering a uniquely beautiful setting. I highly recommend reserving a table by the window to fully enjoy the stunning panoramic views.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and received impeccable service. Our server was not only friendly and attentive but also highly skilled and knowledgeable, making us feel exceptionally well cared for throughout our meal.

The food was absolutely delightful—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Many of the ingredients were sourced locally, and you could truly taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. The highlight of the meal was the unexpected yet incredibly thoughtful birthday cake sent to our table by the kitchen—a gesture that made the experience even more special.

Every aspect of our visit exceeded expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. A perfect 10/10...

This restaurant is located on one of the hilltops that constitute the Parque Natural da Serra D'Aire e Candeeiros. It is run a by an association that aims to protect both the environment and culture of this region and to recover antique local traditions. We went for lunch on a Sunday, and the place was quite busy. Fortunately, we called before to book a table. Surprisingly, half of the patrons were foreigners. The menu is made of local dishes, using local ingredients. We had the "galo", "cabrito" and "bacalhau". Portions were huge and food very tasty. We had the house white wine "Terra Cha", which not being excellent, offers a good value for money. Service is very friendly: we witnessed how the waiters did not hesitate to bring raw ingredients from the kitchen, to better illustrate the dishes...

Great service and menu. However, preparation of meals was lacking quality:

cabrito was mostly bones and cartilage. The little meat that was on it was not tender, side dishes ok. For 25€ I expected a bit more.

The beef strips were ordered medium, cam rare and after returning them to the kitchen came back well done and tough. Fried Potato was soggy and covered in oil, mushroom from can without any char on it.

Desserts: mousse au chocolate was dense, flavor good. Crème brûlée...
