I had a great dining experience here and I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area. It's a family run business located in an old train station right on the Douro River. There is a terrace overlooking the river with views of the valley as well as train tracks and train bridge across the river. So you can enjoy watching the train pass periodically in an amazing setting. The traditional Portuguese dishes and service here were excellent on my visit and there is a nice wine list to choose from. Espaço agradável e que frequentava já algum tempo, mas a minha última visita deixou-me bastante desagradado não sendo a primeira vez, mas com toda a certeza sendo a ultima. Sendo um espaço que frequento a algum tempo e que me dirijo varias vezes na minha estadia em vale de vila, terra essa onde tenho a minha família que visito varias vezes durante o ano, na passada 4°feira e não sendo a primeira vez, mostro o meu desagrado no atendimento. No dia anterior tinha estado no estabelecimento no estabelecimento e questionei o proprietário qual o horário que se encontravam a fazer, pois como é ato diario ir beber um porto tonico, ao qual se prestou muito prestável dizendo que tinham trocado o dia de fecho e estariam abertos. Dirigi-me na quarta feira e pela segunda vez a antipatia do proprietário foi tremenda, como tinha um grupo grande nesse dia a sair e como se encontrava alguma confusão questionei se poderia beber um copo, tendo o funcionário respondido que sim, apos breves momentos de estar sentado o funcionário dirigiu-se à mesa e referiu que não poderia servir-me.
