Superb food! The most flavourful stew you can enjoy during your stay at Madeira.

We stopped for an appetiser few times and got to taste the house specialty goat stew as a snack. Returned the other day to try the full dish, simply out of this world! Would never have considered the dish, but this is by far the best stew I ever got to taste. The flavour, the tenderness, the mouthfeel, easily 5+ stars

The owner/cook told in a passionate way the entire story behind the dish, how he got to know the recipe and mastered it in a Londen restaurant.

The hospitality of the owners is superb as well, they take their time explaining products and dishes.

Very pleased with the wine assortment they offer, lovely stuff and great price/quality. Discovered a vino verde for the first time, I highly recommend if you are into young fruity wines and enjoy some mineral tasting notes.

Don’t let the Portuguese menu (use google translate camera ;)) and local focus of the restaurant bring any doubt, this restaurant is a must visit as a culinary enthousiast.

Best tuna steak I ever had in my life. Was so fresh and tasty. Massive portions so you’ll never go hungry.
