Sulav Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Seixal

Just went there about 1 hour ago to place my order and collect it (as the it was their first working hours, I was served in less than 15 minutes, thank you!): Takeaway menu of 20 pieces for €13.50, they were kind enough to include extra 8 hot rolls. The takeaway menu included a mix of sushi, sashimi, uramaki, nigiri and maki (I hope I got them all right as there was a fantastic and fresh variety... To be picky... the fried onion wasn't as crispy as it should be, but the rest was stellar and compliments on the main ingredient... Great rice). Menu included usual chopsticks and good quality soy sauce, great pickled ginger and real wasabi. The staff were really friendly, the place in spite of small (mom and pop kind of place), seemed clean, even though I didn't do my meal there, wasn't able to go check my "restaurant cleanliness gauge"... The guest rest room...)

I'm not a sushi expert, but I've been round the block. I told them it was my first sushi (I omitted some truth... ;)) experience and they were kind to deliver a great variety. When I check a place in an area that I recently moved to, I start by having the takeaway option, in my opinion it's a way to gauge the place, as most restaurants frown down upon it so as to lead you to book a table. Thank you Sulav sushi for being honest! Summing it up: to repeat for sure (booking a table), great value for money, fresh delicious sushi, nice people....

What a place, the energy, wonderful food, but the best was the staff, the lady that served us was amazing, smiling, polite, fast. The option eat all you can is the best, all super fresh and the quality is unreal. The mochi for desert is delicious. Extremely good price. I highly recommend. And will be back for sure. I never leave reviews but this one...

Não encomendem Não vale a pena Estive 2h à espera que me fizessem a entrega. Tive de ir ao restaurante de propósito para ir buscar a comida e quando lá cheguei ainda nem sequer a tinham começado a preparar. Uma encomenda que deveria ter sido feita em 40mins ia acabar por demorar mais de 3h. Acabei por ir ao sushitown um pouco mais abaixo que em 20 minutos me preparou tudo. Em tempos de pandemia em que cada cliente é precioso é engraçado ver restaurantes como este que nem sequer se dão ao trabalho de fazer bem o que lhes compete :(
