If you like rustic down to earth and a neighborhood joint, this is a place you can’t overlook. It is in a small village not to far from Sebutal. We came here to early and been told to come back by 7 pm. We looked at other places but ended back here. I’m glad we did! The grill was hot and the meat and fish was on display and you can chose your cut of meat or fish. Staff was very friendly despite my no knowledge of Portuguese or the little I knew. The prices are very reasonable and you get your money worth. Actually my wife told me to watch the amount they gave me to cut it back. Glad I did it was a lot. The seasoning is only salt, no pepper. They gave us rice and French fries, good portions. Meat was well grilled. I had pork belly. Fat was nicely rendered meat was easy to chew. Sausage where good. My wife had a choice of two different cuts of beef. But very nice portions. Grilled medium/rare. We got a bottle of red wine. We took it home.
