O Petisco — Restaurant in Silves

We go to this restaurant since a couple of years during our Algarve holidays. In the past we had never any complaints.

But today we ordered the Cataplana Algarvia for a price of EUR 24, shown in the "Ementa".

The big surprise: The bill shows a price of 35 EUR vor the Cataplana.

I asked the waiter vor the reason. He told me, that the price in the Ementa ist wrong.

Unbelievable.

I had to pay the 35 EUR.

Fomos até a este restaurante por ser bem falado. Perguntamos quais eram os pratos do dia , em que a funcionária referiu quais eram e nós escolhemos. Quando chegou a conta ficamos incrédulos com o preço do dito prato dia, 20€/pessoa e questionamos se aquele era o valor do prato do dia, em que a tal funcionária responde "peço desculpa ao sábado não há prato do dia induzi em erro". Ou seja não trouxe o menu, referindo apenas as opções do dia em que foi pago preço de ouro para o restaurante e comida que foi. Sentimos que fomos enganadas porque não somos clientes habituais então cobraram nos o preço que quiseram. Senão era prato do dia bastava avisar e mostrar o menu. Sitio a não voltar pelo péssimo...

Excellent lunch, roasted pig on the spit. Make sure you get there early as it gets busy. Was served with tomatoe salad, rice and beans,...
