Just bumped into this place by coincidence cruising around exploring the area and was surprised by the cosy “@thisisgather - like” atmosphere. A nice and inviting mix of shops, bar, restaurant, podium and easy hangout to chat, relax or enjoy the great food with a choice of #vegetarian and even #vegan dishes. The lady serving was very friendly and the owner of the property including the camper park was very relaxt and inviting. Absolutely worth a visit. Absolutely delicious home cooked food, always hot and freshly cooked, the Pies are probably the best I’ve ever had, the battered fish, not only a great size but pretty close to an authentic fish and chip shop taste. Even to having a Sunday roast, the way you like it. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Carol, from a warm welcome, to asking for extra sides or mixing the menu up to have how you want, nothing is ever too much trouble. We arrived as a group of 7 people and waited probably almost 1 hour for food when we were the only people there. The food finally came but there was a dish missing so we waited again for that. The sandwich was stale, chicken breast was dry and not much flavour in the meat, and the pies were overdone. We also found out when trying to pay that it was cash only - there are no signs to inform you of this and the serving staff were in no way apologetic about the lack of signage etc. Very...
