Trinca Espinhas — Restaurant in Sines

First of all if I could give this restaurant a 0* I would. The worst service I have ever seen. The staff were rude in the manner they talked they could have been polite for free ! We waited for 10 minutes for the restaurant to open it got to opening time and they were still not open we waited another 10 minutes for it to open this was now 11:13 asked to use the bathroom they were then impolite to me. Went to the bathroom there was old tissues on the floor no toilet roll I had to ask a friend to get some toilet roll from our van as I needed it badly, no soap !completely unhygienic ! I couldn’t imagine what the food is like. Found a shit rag on the floor this indicates that I’m not the first person to have this awful experience. I’ve seen better conditions in India. Will never return nor will I ever recommend this place for the rest of my life this place will be the worst service I have experienced. All I wanted was a coffee ! One of the most disgusting experience I have ever seen. The owner/manager, is treating employees in a horrible way. There are 2 girls working that got treated horribly in front of our table. People like this should be arrested to be so horribly rude to their employees. She was nice to cancel a dish for our table as we were waiting for a long time. When the manager arrived with the dish, we said that was no longer needed and we also said that to his collogue. First he said that this was absolutely not possible. Then he went directly to the employee shouting that she was going to pay for the dish. We then heard screaming and discussing against here. Also this morning we had a coffee and the same manager was rude to another girl. We feel extremely sad for the girls that works in the place that did definitely not deserve that. Sad because the food is not bad and location is perfect, but we should be aware about humans way more than anything else....

The one star is solely for the location and the view, otherwise I wish I could have put a zero.

What a terrible service. First they didn't have half the dishes presented on the menu. We thereby swiftly changed for other items, asking to assure that they had those dishes.

Then after about 25 minutes, the waiter came back saying that they were out of one of the dishes we'd ordered. So I quickly changed for something else.

An hour after the initial order had been placed we still hadn't received anything, not even the small kids, while other tables which had arrived after us had received their dishes. We informed the staff that it had been more than an hour and they again said they were sorry but that was all.

10 minutes later we informed the manager that we would leave if the food didn't arrive. He said he'd look into it but never came back, so we left. Hence I can't say is the food is good or not as we never...
