Palace — Restaurant in Sintra

We chose Palace because it was close to our campsite and it turned out to be a great decision. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff didn’t speak English, but they were incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the evening.

We shared a seafood rice pot for two and it was more than enough. The portion was generous, the food was delicious and the price was very fair. We also had a dessert and some natural water. Altogether, the bill came to just under 60 euros.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Food - the veel had some pieces that were hard and dry. The cream milk dessert was solid and grummy, warm on top and pieces of ice in the bottom... in terms if the food itself, it was a let down. Prices arent very cheap either, but would be tolerated if food...

Experiência a nunca repetir e nunca irei recomendar. Não posso dizer que a comida seja boa porque não cheguei a comer sequer! Dirigi-me a este espaço com os meus pais para um almoço de domingo e fomos recebidos com extrema arrogância logo à entrada. Sentamos, apontaram para a ementa e em tom de reprimenda dizem-nos que "temos de pedir já". Nem 1 minuto passou e já estava a funcionária novamente a afirmar "têm de pedir senão não servimos". Obviamente que nos levantámos e saímos imediatamente. Nunca fui tratada assim em lado algum! Se não queriam servir mais refeições poderiam ter dito logo à entrada que entenderiamos perfeitamente, isto que fizeram é uma tremenda falta de respeito. Eu não falo com ninguém da forma autoritária e arrogante com que fui tratada neste restaurante. Foi ultrajante. Revejam os vossos modos,...
