Traditional Portugese Café / Bar and a simple Restaurant in a separate room. But it's not a usual Restaurant with a menu from which you choose, order and get it served... Instead, you should phone them ahead or you will wait quite a while as everything is prepared freshly!
The location is not very cosy or pretty - as usual in Portugal. But its clean and, most importantly, the food is very delicious and reasonably priced. We once had the grilled chicken (one of the best we tried in Portugal) with french fries and the other time bacalhau with batatas ao murro (9€ per person). They also have a selection of home made desserts which are quite good (e.g. molotov = "baked egg foam cake", bolo de bolacha or fruits). Choice of 2 dishes which made it simple, home-made cooking, honest quality and generous portions.
