Cosy restaurant in a tiny little village somewhere in the "nowhere". It was nearly 9:00 pm and we came as a group of seven for dinner - the Chef told us, that he's "sold out", but if we are willing to wait a while, he will try to make a "miracle". After less than 15 min, he offered us two variations of chicken breast and beef steak. In addition he was able and willing to create a special vegetarian meal as well. We enjoyed the freshly prepared meals, sunset in this nice location, the live music with spontaneous contributions from a guest, the friendliness of the hosts and the overall experience in this restaurant (incl. the bill ;-)). The proprietors are the nicest couple you'll ever meet. They made me feel welcome and between them speak myriad languages (Portuguese, Dutch, English, French, Italian, and who knows what else). The chef created a special vegetarian dish in between lunch and dinner. I truly appreciated the warm welcome and interesting conversation. Lunch on the patio was lovely. (Note to people looking for the restaurant: there wasn't a sign for it, but you can find it by the outdoor wood patio with the Segafredo signage on...

Apesar da simpatia das pessoas do restaurante e dos positivos comentários mencionados por cá, a experiencia foi ruim. Comida: O prato de salmao é pobre, o peixe nao estava no ponto, a batata estava sem nenhum tempero e um delas estava crua e os legumes estavam bem temperados, mas em pouca quantidade. O prato de peito de frango era somente frango com um bucadinho de fritas (bem feitas, aliás). O prato vegetariano nao estava temperado. Bebidas, bom, poucas opcoes (Nao ha sangria e nem vinho!). Enfim, apesar de ter a pretensao de cozinhar qualquer coisa, bom, poderia, ao menos, indicar o que nao cozinha. Servico: Nao ha multibanco, nao ha mbway, nao ha formas de pagar a nao ser em cash. Isso eh um problema, pois a regiao nao possui nenhum ATM por perto (5 km). Porém, sao receptivos e educados; Atmosfera: Bom, num país onde as ondas de calor sao cada vez maiores e frequentes, é importante o ambiente ser climatizado e limpo. Digo que um restaurante precisa evitar o ambiente esteja as moscas e insetos (literalmente), além de, ao menos, achar uma solucao para o calor.

Bom, eu entendo o objetivo do restaurante, porém, se querem ser diferentes e produzir pratos da cultura local, precisam perceber qual cliente querem atender. Climatizacao, limpeza, formas de pagamento e comida que cause aquela vontade de repetir, mesmo que seja somente salmao, batata e legumes. (ja comi pratos assim, simples, mas eram suculentos e incrivelmente perfeitos).

Enfim, espero que entendam minha critica...
