Amazing steaks, incredible Portuguese food. With a great rustic feel. Nice view if you make it to one of the 2 seatings at the porch. Update: after 1 year it has become a staple in our visits to the north country side. Very consistent and always a great experience. Incredible friendly staff. (If you want to experience something different you need to place a reservation with 2 days in advance) I don't really mind because the 2 main dishes they always have...

We had an amazing dinner here, the food was not to be missed and the best way to end a day out enjoying Gerês! We loved everything about the meal, from the cheese, olives and bread to the Pataniscas de bacalhau and the veal, to the Quinta d’Amares wine to the lovely deserts. Make the trip!!
