Cervejaria O Gordo — Restaurant in Torres Vedras

The restaurant was always one of my favorites, and I’ve enjoyed many meals here in the past. This time, while the food and ambiance were still great, I noticed a few differences compared to what I remembered. The flavors were still solid, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the level I’ve come to expect. One thing that stood out was the service—while our short little waitress, was not so polite, there was a bit of a disconnect that made the visit feel less warm, even though all other waiters were very polite. Delicious food! Superb service! We ordered boiled crab and the crab roe was creamy and simply delicious! We ordered half a grilled chicken and it was tender and tasty. The chilli was fantastic. It was spicy and uplifted my dining experience. The dishes were served to us one after another. Very nice. The table service was good.
