A plate of food is never enough and a customer's worst nightmare can be waiting patiently for a meal to be served when only a small serving portion is given. Not here, Os Santinhos is the ultimate hotspot for a quick meal at lunchtime or for a massive feast at dinner. More than anything with Os Santinhos, the prices for food simply cannot be beaten. The quality of the dishes of fresh/daily fish is superb and the different meats that are available are amazingly succulent and always come perfectly cooked. Honestly there isn't a single dish that isn't humongous and that doesn't taste like it was made in a Michelin star restaurant. When I went again tonight, my mom ordered the flambé salmon while I had the hamburger stuffed with cheese and cream of mushroom. Both of our dishes were bursting with flavour and were of incredible size, resulting in both of us not being able to finish our plates and having to take the leftovers home due to the food tasting too good to let it go to waste. Along with all of the amazing food comes the drinks and deserts, which quite frankly are just as good as the food and are extremely cheap too. A half litre of wine is served at just €2.20 which is cheaper than I have ever seen in any restaurant or bar in any part of the world. All beverages are served full to the brim and are always sold at very feasible prices. The desserts are homemade and are the most beautiful and scrumptious finishers to a fantastic meal at Os Santinhos which too are always cheap yet served in huge portions that taste amazing. With all these factors combined, there's no doubt that Os Santinhos is a definite location that you need to include in your feast finding adventure around Lisbon and Torres Vedras. Fantastic...
Read moreReally Delicious - O Santinhos is one of the top seafood places you can find. Not a fancy spot, but the food is excellent! The grilled fish is exceptional — fresh, perfectly cooked, and very fairly priced. The place was crowded when we arrived, but the service remained personal and attentive.
The real magic and main attraction is at the fresh fish counter, where a huge selection of fresh catches, including turbot, sole, monkfish, grouper, snapper, bream, mullet, mackerel, stone bass, and sea bass, awaits. A fish lover's paradise.
The owner himself both served us and grilled the fish, taking the time to recommend what was best that day. We went with his suggestions, and every bite tasted like the ocean — simple, authentic, and full of flavor.
This is Portuguese seafood at its finest: lively atmosphere, honest prices, and some of the best variety of grilled fish you’ll find...
Read moreAuthentic, delicious food with excellent service and inviting hospitality. We were the only foreigners in the house and were treated like gold. Stumbled on this gem driving from Lisbon north to Porto and the Google reviews were not exaggerated. Our family of six ordered the mixed seafood platter for four and the red snapper and everything was divine! Had to take almost half in take-home trays! A local mentioned she would drive almost an hour to eat at this gem of a restaurant! I think I would want to fly back from the US to repeat the experience....
