The best meat platter I've had for a really good price! A huge bowl of rice, french fries and variety of different meats for 24€ (good for 2 people, we were very full). The meat platter came with pork belly, ribs, chicken, sausage, and beef. The beef was very tender!!! Highly recommend getting it. Felt very homey and the food tasted like a homecooked meal from your Portuguese grandmother.

The waiter was very friendly and told us where we could park. He also was the one who recommended the meat platter and spoke excellent English...

A fabulous restaurant. Went to Trofa for a walk along the river, which I can thoroughly recommend, although the town? not so much! Anyway, the food in this place was superb. Large dish of mixed meat, fries and rice. Meat was delicious and tender, beef, belly-pork, ribs, chicken, sausage. House wine decent, home made puddings lovely. Very reasonable price. Staff member was lovely. Fluent English and about the nicest and most helpful waiter I have ever met! Go to Trofa just for here...

Na minha primeira visita ao restaurante, acompanhado de mais 5 amigos, pedimos 4 francesinhas e 1 dose de picanha, a qual se recusaram fazer as francesinhas pois o restaurante estava cheio... Pedimos os 4 prego no prato. Entretanto, ação de louvar, o cozinheiro veio ter connosco e sugeriu outro prato em vez da dose de picanha, pois a picanha estava "dura". A pensar que estavam os problemas todos resolvidos, para não falar da quantidade de vezes que vieram confirmar os pedidos (algumas vezes errados), o meu prego veio frio!! Literalmente frio... Ao que me responderam que o poderiam aquecer no microondas!! Espero que só tenha...
