Luna Bar — Restaurant in Vagos

This is the best spot ever by the beach. Either it's summer or rainy season, I never felt better sitting with friends, dating my wife, drinking tea, reading or even remote working. And the ocean just up front. Peaceful, smiling people, owners are so nice, and good music on the background will give you a very pleasant time. This could be heaven. And they just improved the space rebuilding it. It's awesome. I really hope that excellent reviews don't bring waves of people that might ruin the place. Please respect the others around. Friendly enough service although a bit slow. Felt like we might have been interrupting a private party between the team.

With a previous 20 year career in Architectural Design, I am very seldom impressed by Contemporary Architecture in Portugal… actually usually very much the opposite. But this building is a rare success. Beautiful seamless detailing, great use of materials particularly in the tinted glazing which framed the ocean view beautifully, acting also as a mirror reflecting the full moon when observed from the exterior.

Just discovered this place and it is a hidden gem! The bar faces South? so there is no wind blasting you from the outside terrace & you feel super close to the beach. We went when it was drizzling outside and it was still nice! Rain or shine def worth a visit! There are vegetarian 🌱 options for both snacks and desserts and the vibe was so much chiller. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the bar (less than 5 mins in the sand). Not wheelchair...
