RESERVATIONS Recommended! Awesome little eatery in small village. Every table was full but 1 & it had a Reserved sign on it @14:00 on a Sat afternoon, when I dropped in on my way from Évora to Portimão. The waiter asked the chef & fortunately for me they agreed to let me sit there! The waiter, who spoke very little English, informed me they were out of 1 dish, so I asked what he recommended, I had no idea what I would be getting, plus menu was Portuguese. Food was Excellent, salad so delicious, pork loin strips, oh so tasty! Home fried chips & I'm not sure what the other red carb item was, it was good, but I don't eat many starchy carbs. I do eat sugary things, so I tried a dessert I saw many ordering. It was delicious! Pics to show. The chef came out, stopped at each table checking in with the guests, including me! The gal helping was also very kind, smiling & nodding at me. What a Wonderful experience! Lugar muito agradável, com atendimento simpático e atencioso. Perfeito para momentos em que o mais importante é encontrar bons sabores e boa disposição. Começamos com uns camarões ao alho e terminamos com um delicioso pica pau de novilho servido com rodelas de batata frita e ovo estrelado, tudo partilhado por dois dos quais só um tinha realmente apetite para comer (eu hehehehe).

A lista de vinhos é boa, com uma representação razoável dos produtores locais e o ambiente é muito agradável.

O Chef prepara os pratos numa pequena cozinha aberta, com visibilidade para a sala e todos os movimentos são feitos de maneira a não causar ruído desnecessário para a sala.

Desta vez tivemos sorte e conseguimos entrar sem ter feito uma reserva. Recomendo a que faça a sua reserva porque só com sorte encontrará uma mesa livre se não fizer a reserva antecipada.

Excellent déjeuner dans un cadre moderne et chaleureux un service impeccable personnel sympathique les plats s'enchainent sans attente pourtant le chef est seul aux commandes dans sa cuisine ouverte sur la salle ici on ne triche pas ici on cuisine juste avec des produits frais et de qualité la quantité des plats suffissantes Les plats proposés paraissent sobres mais quels saveurs Bravo Le vin rouge que le chef nous a proposé été en parfait accord avec les plats et à la bonne température pour un vin de 14°5 Les prix sont plus que raisonnable un bon rapport qualité prix Je suis un habitué des déplacements à l'étranger si vous passez à proximité de VIGUEIRA ne cherchez pas d'autre restaurant Nous avons passé un moment agréable dommage nous repartons...
