Lets start by saying that the food that we got was good, nothing wrong with that. However, we got a lot of things that the (I presume owner) carried to our table, without us asking for it, that was added to our bill at the end. And I mean a lot: bread and olives (which a lot of Portuguese restaurants have been doing, so fine), but also ham, mushrooms, alheira, rice, in the end a total of more than 20 euros. This was a third of our total bill! We ate it, so we paid for it, and it was tasty, but it came to our table already cooked and therefore it is awkward to refuse it then. Also we weren't sure for some of it if was part of the dishes we ordered (apparently it was not). I would have gone for two stars, since the food was tasty, except we had the goat, which was 28 euros for 2 people, but we had only 3 pieces each of back bone with only a little bit of meat on it. It tasted very good, but that was very expensive for very little meat.

Look at the Bill and judge yourself. With this amount one can have two dinners in portugal. Two couverts 7,5. Aperitif, not asked for or being asked for, 4. Two starters (ham and olive) 10 euros, not asked for. One typical dish, not asked for 5. So all together 26,5 Euro, not asked for. The steak and wine were 45 euros, also pretty expensive! So, unless you want to get robbed , do not visit.

Unfortunately, the photo on Google Maps doesn't show the real restaurant: instead of a nice lake view, we only found a rather dark and uninviting location with a view to the grey backyard. The service was okay, but the food was quite disappointing - especially regarding the high prices. For example, we paid 15€ for some simple mushrooms with tomatos, corn and rice - and 18€ for pork that consisted almost entirely of fat. In the end, we really were disillusioned and regretted that we spent so much money for our worst restaurant experience...

Refeição mais surreal de sempre. Chegamos ao restaurante, que fica na parte de baixo da vivenda dos donos (nada contra isto), e não estava ninguém, sem ser o dono do restaurante, que apressadamente se foi aprontar enquanto nos sentavamos, o que começou por tornar a experiência algo constrangedora. Depois, foi-nos "oferecido" um cocktail (moscatel com 7up - será que podemos chamar a isto um cocktail) com toda a simpatia quando no fim têm o descaramento de cobrar 1,30€ por a tão amável oferta, mesmo que já tenha sido escrito por N clientes nas críticas online -só vimos isto depois - que esta atitude é absurda! Entretanto, toda a "simpatia" do empregado em tentar impingir o máximo de entradas possíveis, a juntar à música e ao estilo do restaurante tornou tudo ainda mais desagradável. A comida, sem ser de topo mas boa e bem confeccionada, era pouca para 2 e não é que no fim da refeição nos perguntam se queremos mais um bocadinho?! Ou servem uma dose decente, ou não servem. Agora perguntar depois de terminada a refeição se queremos mais um pouco é no mínimo falta de noção. Tudo isto a juntar ao facto de, no meio de uma vila no norte de Portugal, ter um restaurante banal a cobrar preços de bons restaurantes em Lisboa e no Porto tornou este sítio um dos piores a que já fui, e portanto a pior crítica que já...
