A surprising find while trying to avoid Porto airport food. We could not belief our luck in happening upon this friendly place where people greet you, the local customers included, and where home cooking is apparent. It is a long time since i have had batata fritas like minha maē used to make back in Glasgow, ie hand cut and not frozen. The owner prided himself in home produced. The owner was keen for us to try local food and gave us samples to temp. The trip to the WC was through the backyard bbq, fires ablazing where a wonderful steak was cooked. Nous voulions dîner local, c'est pour ça qu'on nous a recommandé ce restaurant. Allez-y les yeux fermés ! Ce fut notre meilleur expérience culinaire au portugal et pour un prix vraiment ridicule. 3 apéritifs, 3 plats une bouteille vin.
