Bar do Blues — Restaurant in Vila do Porto

Nice place to watch sunset, food is good, if it arrives... They are just overloaded... They close.the kitchen from one second to the other due to lack of staff... Or you have to wait hours to order... and wait more hours to get you orders... By the time they realise they are not able to handle the people, it's maybe even too late get somewhere else... To make a reservation in advance doesn't change anything... Staff tries to be friendly but is just stressed and not well trained... too many things that don't work... Sorry...

Still the same... no improvement... 30min waiting to get noticed and place orders 2hrs waiting for food (which are snacks!) They put more tables, accept more people not having the ressources nor the staff to handle...

Add-on: Today after 2 hrs, they told us our orders didn't arrive at...

Amazing atmosphere and setting for watching the sunset. Food was a mix bag with great shrimp starters, but less impressive mains (we had the Portuguese crab and chicken sandwich) - the kitchen struggled to handle the number of customers and it was a one hour wait between the cold starter arriving and everything else (including the warm starter). The staff was friendly and helpful but also likely overwhelmed with some parts of our order forgotten. Overall a good experience and probably best place to relax with a glass of wine and watching the sunset...

The location is nice but it is always a pain if you want to eat something. Despite serving only snacks and having a limited menu choice be prepared to wait even more than 3 hours to get your food. If you want drinks just get them yourself at the bar. I know it is unexplainable how is it possible to wait 3 hours for a burger or a sandwich but this is how they do and they do not even care at all about any complains and this makes the whole experience even...
