This amazing hidden gem of the Douro is tucked away in a hill with breathtaking views of the stone bridge and river. Run by a young family, this place serves extremely fresh (most ingredients are grown or caught in the area) and home made Portuguese food. The fried fish and the bacalhau gratin are amazing, but you cannot miss the desserts (sobremesa).
