The house is beautiful and the location is just perfect in a quiet area right in front of the river. Unfortunately, the rest is not at the same level. The staff seemed extremely tired and didn't want to accept us (we called before to assess if it would be possible to have dinner). The tables weren't clean and we didn't have the possibility to decide what we were going to eat (they simply decided and put it on the table). What a find. Authentic Portuguese food style and atmosphere. It's the kind of place that if you are not Portuguese and love food you will never find. From the smoked cured meat, cod croquettes chicken gizzards and tripe, everything was delicious cooked with knowledge and experience in abundance. Stumbled upon this place after a walk and wow! Sat down, didn’t order off the menu, was just brought random dishes and it was amazing! They really make you feel at home. Great prices and such a fun atmosphere. They also have a bar upstairs.
