Beijing Garden — Restaurant in Voluntari

I'm seeing the mixed reviews and not sure why. Honestly I was always served with a smile and the staff was always helpful when I didn't know what to get. I've been going more often recently and I've tried other Chinese places but I do think this one is the best one in Bucharest and the most authentic one as well. Also if you like spicy food I do recommend telling the server to make it as spicy as possible, for some reason spicy food in romania is not quite spicy so if you say nothing you will get "Romanian spicy". Things that I will recommend for sure are: pork tongue and beef stomach salad (I know I know, but just try it, it's surprising good) eggplant dishes are really good as well and the green beans are delicious. If you don't want spicy food try the beef on hot plate or the sweet and sour options. If you like spicy food I recommend the beef with spicy sauce, Gan Bian beef, beef with breadcrumbs and hot pepper, pork with hot sauce or Sichuan pork are also really good. The staff is very rude, u wait for 30 minutes for them to bring u the menu, they ignore you all the time and when u tell them you re leaving because they re services are poor they tell you “goodbye” they dont care at all. A chinese restaurant full of romanian workers that probably are payd poor and they re not in the mood to do anything at all , horrible experience and it is not the first time i come there and they re treating us the same . P.S if you re ordering a meal and a side salad they re gonna bring the salad after 40 minutes when u re done eating u re meal , they dont care, it s just disgusting behaviour, even they re facial expressions says...

I've been here many times here but never got such a poor, unsalted, tasteless food like the one i've had today. I expected to have a slow service like always, but it was actually not so slow. The waiter was nice serving our food. Plates look good, very, very hot. The chicken with bamboo was the only one good, the beef and the bamboo with mushrooms had the sauce like water. Could be a new cook. I can't explain why this happened as i had the same food in the past with completely different taste and savor. Atmosphere not very great staying outside right near the cars driving through the parking. Disappointed. Would try to avoid...
