All the covid problem affected the whole world, and busnisses from large to small scale. Of course this place was no exception. So when I called to ask if the restaurant is open the gentleman on the phone replied that they do not have all the types of dishes theh usuallh serve , but he will ask at the kitchen and calls me back with more details. And he did, and named me arround 8 types of food they colud prepare. So my wife and I gladly made a walk to Kastel Transilvania. This is a fairly new hotel, opened in December last year (2018). It had a long convalescence, but now it is open and functional. ||I had the chance to visit in a period when it was really really quiet. The surroundings are also quiet, it is on the border of the village, with sights to Brasov. Near is a park and a church in construction.||The interior furnishing is what catches your eye. Excellent restaurant, would recommend anyone! You will get a luxurious experience for an affordable price. The head waitress and chef personally came to help us choose our food, translated and answered all doubts and questions. The food was almost at michelin star level, well balanced flavours, great textures, with good size portions. From starter to dessert it was a great experience. The staff was extremely kind and they showed us around the hotel rooms, all with handcrafted furniture and saxon-styles.
