Royal Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Barbados

I ordered from here they said delivery would be 40mins ended up being about 10, now the first problem is even though i order a large i feel like the food portion wasn't that much and it came up to a $100.50 very disppointed with the portion size. The second problem is the flavor of the food, the sweet and sour chicken is orange.. why is it orange? and a strange flavor of juice comes out when you bite into it. The sweet and sour sauce isnt even sweet and sour, i will leave you to imagine any other flavor but sweet and sour. I also got chicken and pork chowmein the chicken was quite plain and the pork was somewhat chewy, I'm very upset with the money spent here and I think the Beijing Chinese Resturant is MUCH better the only reason I ordered from here is because they have delivery while the Beijing Chinese Resturant does not.. quite unfortuante. What I do not understand is why they chose to establish themselves there and there is another chinese resturant a DOLLARWISE STORE away. I will end my review by saying I loved the speed of the delivery but the food is not worth it. Will not be ordering...

This place is right outside Six Roads, a five minute drive from home for me. I was quite impressed by the service (I called and ordered ahead). Food was ready on arrival, and still hot. The lady was quite pleasant.

Now, for the food. We ordered the Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings (I got some jasmine rice as a side dish). First off, portion size. Probably the only reason I wouldn't rate this place a full five stars. We ordered a large portion of the wings, and as you can see, it looked a little scanty. The rice however, was a lot, and very hefty.

As for the actual food, the wings surely live up to their name. Quite spicy, cough-inducing, but good. Had this floury coating I couldn't really get around. Meat slid right off the bone. The rice was predictably boring (I was hoping it being jasmine rice would've made a difference, but quite palatable.

All in all, would I go back? Probably. They offer delivery, so it'd probably be one of those lazy eat-in night places. Still, great job on service and...
