Best meal of our trip so far!
The restaurant isn't easy to find. There are no signs directing you or reassuring you're in the right place, but Google got us close enough, and the Crystal Villa staff helped the rest of the way.
The restaurant only offers a 6 course pre-fix menu, which includes 1 welcome cocktail (rum punch), 3 apps, 2 entrees, 2 sides, and 3 mini desserts. The apps were great, the main course was delicious too, and the cocktails were beyond amazing! Desserts are lacking, the chocolate mousse was the best, but the other two need rethinking.
Our service started off amazing. Very quick to get our initial drinks and apps. Then, the mixologist came over to take our second drink order (which is an extra charge, though. They don't disclose that...) Then, after we finished our entrees, our server seemed to forget about us all together.
We were the first ones in (5:30 rezo), yet last ones out (8:15pm) after waiting for 45+ minutes for someone to come over to our table. We ended up going up to the bar to order a third round and never got any water refills. Then the hostess came over with our check, dropping it off, saying our taxi arrived (even though we drove ourselves)...it wasn't even busy and they seem to only do one table service in a night (we went on a Wednesday though).
The restaurant is completely open air, so be sure to prep accordingly for bugs, especially if you want a table close to the railings (with the best views!)
The end of the night total for us two, with two rounds of additional cocktails, was $216 after 10% gratuity and 10% VAT.
Still, overall, this was an incredible experience for food and drinks, and the views were stunning. Would recommend upgrading the desserts and having service be a bit...
Read moreEating at Treetop Restaurant and Bar has truly been the highlight of my visit to St. Lucia. First off, the restaurant is a gorgeous, multiple story treehouse in the middle of the rainforest, overlooking the ocean and the Pitons. So, location is fantastic. And the decor is STUNNING. The colors are so vibrant, yet perfectly cozy. The lighting was to die for. I felt like I was in an Indian fairy treehouse palace. All of the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. When we called to make a reservation, they asked about any allergies over the phone. My mother is allergic to onions, and when our family style main courses arrived, the chef had prepared a separate version of all 4 dishes without onions for her. Never in my life have I seen a restaurant be more accommodating to an allergy. Every single dish (both with and without onions) was delicious. And the bartender, Hamilton, was a dazzling star! His complimentary first round of rum punch was complex, yet so easy to drink. It was so wonderful I had to have a second glass. At the end of the evening, after we finished our dessert (again, delicious), we inquired about digestives and Hamilton prepared two separate after dinner tastes for us. The first was a rum infused with ginger and honey. The second was a rum infused with basil and citrus. HOLY MOLY they were amazing. I simply cannot put into words the experience that I had at Treetop. I felt so at home and comfortable here that I seriously will get married and have my wedding party here. I've never felt this kind of connection to a restaurant before. Oh also, did I mention that the receptionist is a German Shepherd?...

We visited Treetop Restaurant not once, but twice in just three days—and we would have gone a third time if we could’ve squeezed it in. That alone should tell you how magical this place is.
Let’s start with the stunning view—you’re literally dining in the treetops, with the Pitons towering in the background and the lush St. Lucian jungle surrounding you. It’s the kind of view that makes you put your fork down just to take it all in… and then remember your plate is filled with some of the best food on the island.
Speaking of food: absolutely pirating. Every dish was bold, flavorful, and deeply rooted in local ingredients with a creative twist. It felt like we were being spoiled with the secret recipes of a Caribbean chef’s private collection. The flavors were so layered and rich, we were still talking about them on the drive home.
Then comes the mixology magic—we told the bartender what flavors we liked, and he whipped up personalized cocktails that somehow tasted like they were made just for our souls. These weren’t your standard tropical drinks—these were crafted, balanced, and memorable.
Finally, the staff? Warm, attentive, and fun without ever being overbearing. A special shout-out to Kevin, who made us feel like we were longtime friends coming home. His enthusiasm and genuine care made the experience even more unforgettable.
If you’re anywhere near Soufrière, Treetop is a must-do. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and already dreaming of when we can return.
Treetop, you’ve officially ruined all other...
