Gem of a place in Soufriere. Only a 4 minutes drive from the Fond Doux Eco Resort. The location is great with nice view of the Gros Piton (You may drive by if you are not paying attention. It is just off the road on a turn). The vibe was very laid back with not a lot of rush. Easily one of the best meals we've had on the island. We liked it so much we ended up eating there three times during our 7 day stay in St Lucia. The food is easily better and tastier than anything you'd eat in most of those fancy resorts. If you want to enjoy local, authentic St Luciain food this is a must visit. Price was reasonable. They accept US dollars as well. The owner is super friendly and very easy to chat with. One evening we let them know we were coming and they even prepared the table for us. Everything we ate was delicious. You especially dont want to miss the Fish Cakes. Oh and the Rum (had some serious) Punch!

We stopped here on our travels to our resort and we had one of the best meals during the entire 7 days that we had to come back again. It’s VERY authentic, the owner is so kind and the view and atmosphere is great. Food has so much flavor and made with love. Eating off the resorts has been the highlight of our food experience. Would definitely recommend this place over and over again! I had the chicken creole and my husband had the Lambi (conch).

We decided to travel off the resort property and try something very local. We weren’t disappointed at Serenity. The atmosphere, view, and hospitality were second to none. I wish that more travelers would take a short taxi ride to try these local gems. You’ll find fresh food sourced in the area farms.

Stopped for lunch on the off-chance on our way back from Tet Paul Nature Trail. I am vegetarian, and experience has been a bit mixed in St Lucia to date although mostly positive. My husband likes anything good quality and quantity! We were quickly reassured that if you are veggie, this is the place to come, and were treated to a fabulous meal each. The chef cooked a lovely vegetable creole curry for me and my husband had a huge portion of creole fish. Both were served with rice, plantain, provisions etc. Neither of us could finish our plates but not for want of trying! I also firmly recommend the peanut punch with lots of ice, but only if you are lucky enough not...

Had looked for something local and out of town and this seemed to fit. A Handwritten menu on a whiteboard without prices was fine as didn’t feel the need to ask somewhere like this, but I wish we did. Service was excruciatingly slow and disinterested. We must’ve sat for 25 minutes before a second glance and a drink order even though there were only 2 other couples sat in the dark here. Food was fine but it had also been well over an hour on hard wooden chairs. The bill was ridiculous, it was more than an ocean front restaurant in town, for somewhere dark, inhospitable and slow. Unfortunately, the worst dining experience in 2 separate trips over 2...
