Worst experience in Samoa. The one star is for the male wait staff who were lovely. Took a while for our orders to be taken, but not the end of the world. We then waited 2 hours for food and should have walked out like another table (although i didn't agree with the way this man insulted the chef)! We also saw another table who left before us say they only received two meals for three diners. We really should have left at this point too. When the meals came they weren't of a high standard. The butter chicken had small bits of chicken and the sauce was nothing like butter chicken. The 'roti' that accompanied the 'curry' was a flour tortilla!! This butter chicken needs to be taken off the menu. We ended up taking away one butter chicken as my daughter had tasted it and the two fish dishes that had arrived. My partner and I ordered two different fish dishes and while they were edible (ish), they weren't great. The fish was overcooked and overpowered by the taste of dried herbs. With fish less is more. We were really unhappy when we received our food (due to the time we had waited at this point, the way the butter chicken looked and the way our displeasure was dealt with by the woman behind the bar) and left only paying for three out of five meals - the other two butter chicken dishes were sent back. One dish didn't even arrive. The woman behind the bar had a bad attitude toward my elderly mother when she complained. Would not recommend and would not return. Not...
Read moreWe visited sails on our last day in Samoa in a Saturday. The view was beautiful. The female waiter greeted us with a smile however when asked about the menu she had no idea. There were 5 of us who dined for lunch. The bar staff were on their phones like they were weren't at work. Chefs kept looking over at our table with blank look. My elderly mother and I ordered fish and chips which never came out even when asked twice meanwhile all other meals came out. The chilli prawns were Luke warm in. Sweet chilli, poke bowl had sour taste, tuna was over cooked, chicken had no seasoning or salt and was covered in sweet chilli. Lobsters that were advertised on there website was not available which seems like they never are. There were flies all over table. The waiter came over after all our other guests finished their entrees and mains to be told it our fish and chips was never ordered. One of our guests pointed out that the chefs spraying fly spray allOver the kitchen while they were cooking food. This would of been one of the worst restaurants in Samoa and will be telling friends and family never to go Here. If your reading this Please don't waste your money and time to go here you will be very dissaponted. To the owner reads the reviews please improve...
Read moreHonestly the worst dining experience I have ever had. The staff were very welcoming but service was slow. It was a quiet Monday evening too and there was only one small table of people when we arrived.
We waited over an hour for our food which, when it came out, we wished we had never even bothered. The laksa was lukewarm and was basically just a broth, 3 cherry tomtoes, some noodles and flakes of soggy fish. The taro fries were obviously microwaved and were also cold and dry and the eggplant bruchetta was the saddest, soggiest and also smallest dish I have ever been served. The food was terrible and I wish we never bothered. Upon leaving we did advise the staff and they kindly and graciously took it into their consideration. We walked past the kitchen and realised that there were actually 3 chefs in there but they couldn’t have possibly been doing their job for the hour we were hungry and waiting.. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else - it was a disappointing last meal in Samoa and we ended up filling out bellies at...
