Meat Moot — Restaurant in Al Ahsa Governorate

The best smoked meat place in Al-Hasa. The food is just too good to miss. It's an order-at-counter place where you order your food, pay and then go to the table where it is served right away. They've precooked meat ready to serve on a moment's notice. You tell them the kind you want and the desired weight and the chef will measure it there and then, serve on a tray, sprinkle the needed condiments and send for serving. The meat is very tender, slightly juicy but very well cooked. Lamb neck was probably the best one we tried. Salads and drinks are included and will be served at the table whenever desired. Drink options are very limited tho. Just the regular sodas. There's a lot of variety of salads and they'll repeat as much as needed. All of them were really good.

The atmosphere is a bit bland with plain seating along the walls. Some tables are so close to the others that you can hear their conversations. That congested space is probably the only draw back.

I visited this place for the second time after a decent first experience and even recommended it to friends. Unfortunately, that visit was disappointing the staff at the entrance seemed rushed and unwilling to explain the menu. When I asked about the options, the response was simply “meat and beef” without even showing the menu, and we were hurried to order. When I politely asked her to wait, she seemed annoyed and walked away, which felt quite unprofessional.

However, I visited again yesterday, and I must say I truly appreciated the improvement in hospitality. The service this time was excellent, and the staff were warm, patient, and attentive, regardless of the customer's background or appearance. This is exactly the kind of experience people expect and appreciate.

It’s clear that action was taken to address earlier concerns, and I sincerely respect that. It's only fair to now upgrade my review to 5 stars this place definitely...
