Shekhdar Restaurant — Restaurant in Al Ahsa Governorate

1 - First starting with the service which was great with the self-service tea machine, however timing was an issue. I was told my order would take 15-20 to be ready, I had to wait 25 mins. 5 mins is not a big deal but it I annoy me since I was expecting my order to be finished earlier.

2- atmosohere is nice in general and decore make dips, however, the small fountain at the enterance have water pipes visible. Also, a nice air spray scent would not hurt to use, it will only make the place smell better.

3- Food:

Mix Grill: starting with the mixed grill, I ordered large 16 skewers which is enough for 4 people according to the restuarant 4 skwer per 1 person. It was soft and tasty, you can almost never go wrong with mixed grill, expected grill tase, nothing special. 4/5

oven chicken: too grassy, the chicken simply lost all flavor to grease. 1/5

Iraqi Hamis: basicaly minced meat but without the mince meat taste, there were some taugh to chew pieces, but over all taste is meh, grease/oil also affected the taste but it is much less than the overn chicken plate. 2/5

-Meat Toshka: upgraded version of arayas (عرايس) meat, taste the same but with cheese. Taste good, however meat portion is small. 3/5

we ordered biryani beef very very normal nothing special we ordered arabian starters it tasted very bad we ordered warm starters it was truly disgusting we also ordered barak iraqi it was Insanely salty we also ordered kabab حلبي it was also super salty and small we also ordered lasagna it had no macaroni and 80 percent bshmel sauce we also ordered seafood soup it had no taste just about cream and 5 peaces of shrimp we also ordered soft drinks they gave us it warm and no ice no glass and no straws the food overall was super disappointing and extremely salty above that it was extremely expensive for its quality the only stars i gave were for the service and the waitress was respectful the only stars i gave was for the waitresses the food and restaurant doesn’t deserve any stars i hate how i went far away for this...

We tried Shekhdar restaurant over a weekend and found it moderately crowded. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and escorted to our table. After placing our order, the service was remarkably quick; our food arrived in no time. We ordered the hummus, which unfortunately seemed stale, and the accompanying bread was not very warm. However, their meat patties with mint were exceptional. They had a subtle mint flavor and were perfectly cooked. We absolutely loved them. We also ordered their Iranian cheese kofta, which was equally delicious. Overall, their grilled dishes were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend them. The starters could have been fresher, but otherwise, it's a wonderful place with quick service, friendly staff, and reasonably...
