It's difficult to critique fairly in times of pandemic when the world has been turned upside down, but Queen of India in the Villagio complex does not fail to delight this reviewer.

While people thronged to get in, reservations were very limited whether for outside dining or indoors. We were lucky to get a central spot along the upholstered wall indoors and we had a good general view. There were only a dozen or so tables in the place, well spaced out. Though service was slow, we were eventually provided with a complimentary basket of papadums and a couple of servings of chutneys.

We ordered from menus uploaded from QR codes on the placemats. The place settings were tasteful, even chic, and featured black porcelain plates that looked like cast iron. The overall color scheme was turquoise on black and tan--and included the natural green of potted palms, all under low lighting.

The waiter was helpful with the ordering and we wound up with a table full of food: shrimp avocado salad, chicken biryani, chicken masala, and tandoori chicken; roti and garlic bread and several sauces and raita. It was a feast! Total...

If you are in khobar and want to taste real indian food, then you are in the right place. with awesome sitting arrangements, peaceful and attractive ambience, well trained,polite,smiling,staff. What about food? .. that's wow, I think if you are here, you must try luckhnowi mutton Biryani. For starter, you must try chicken tikka and tropical tandoori prawn. chiken tikka masala with pickled onion is great taste. don't forget Mutton masala. Even many vegetarian items are so tasty, and dal fry is so nice. If you are indian and jain, they can cook jain Dal too.There are indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. If the weather is nice, we must sit outside and enjoy the musical fountain. If you love beautiful ambience seats inside.
