First time I have been here. Before I write about food I want to mention the staff member who was so kind and patient and helped me so much. I couldn't hear his name ((yasir?) because he was wearing a mask. He is tall. Speaks arabic and english and has a trimmed beard. He makes the coffees and drinks. You should find him and ask him for help. Even when stressed and busy he was kind and polite and patient. Standing on your feet for many many hours doing their job is not easy.
The pictures people already posted are true and also I was too hungry 😂 My food that I did not finish andI took with me I will add photos for them
I'm so glad I came. A group of arabs dressed in beautiful traditional white thobes and headscarves. People with families, couples. Lots of people for breakfast and brunch but calm and quiet with all the customers respectful and even the lady behind me talking on her phone was so respectful how quiet she spoke the ehole time on her phone. The food is absolutely beautiful and I love all the beautiful plates and bowls. The egg benedict was delicious. The crab salad was so delicious with a little spice that made it even more delicious. I had pancakes 🥞 with strawberry and blueberries so beautiful and so delicious. Tea with milk was delicious and I chose the lemon drink....wow it was sooooo good. I wish I could have drunk 5 glasses. It is cold and very refreshing. It is a beautiful calm restaurant. I am grateful to yassir? I couldn't hear his name properly but he is tall and makes the coffees and was wearing a cap and speaks arabic and english helped me because the woman who came to the door if I kept listening to her the experience would have been o stars. Lots of makeup. Walking around like she does not care, leaning near book shelves. Just staring and talking knowing I don't understand but doesn't care. Spraying tables without caring people at the table and others atound so use wipe or spray away from customers into cloth then wipe cloth on table. Simple manners and kindness. She ruined my first experience and the atmosphere with her horrible attitude. And then suddenly I am helped by the kind staff member who makes the coffee to make my order because I don't have Internet. What amazing customer service I finish and want to pay and he realises and helps me. You should pay him extra and promote him to manager especially because of his excellent manners. And everyone going there look for him to serve you and help you. And be nice because its a stressful job and they are busy. And be kind to them because they work hard and trust me I know waiter jobs nowhere in the world and in no country are they...
Read moreFood: orders ice coffee 10/10 Purple lemonade 10/10 well balanced and delicious must try Pancakes 7/10 very fluffy French toast/15/10 so delicious the crispy sugar takes it to another level I highly suggest White omelette 8/10 exactly what you would expect from a spinach and mushroom omelette very nice Avo toast egg Benedict 2/10 I def do not all all suggest this initially, when getting that you can tell that the avocado looks very brownish photo, and the server asked me what’s wrong, and I did a little taste of the avocado, and it was exactly as expected the avocados was going bad they took it away. Another man came ask what is wrong. I explain to him, and he was like OK we will bring another and he was nice about it but I felt the staff kept looking at me and it was uncomfortable. He came back saying the Chef added pesto to it and that’s the reason for the color and insisted it was fresh avocado. I just accepted the dish because it was uncomfortable going back and forth but you can taste the avocados the not fresh definitely going bad and I could not finish it. Also just look at my photo and the other really pictures the avocados is never that brown in any of the other photos clearly they did not want to admit the avocado is going off.
My friend and I ordered some of the nice dishes to go. We finished the food but was still finishing our drinks, and then the server came to me and asked me to sit in the waiting area when I asked why, he said because we have reservations but there was like five other tables completely open and I said that and he was like yes the reason is because we have reservations ??? but no one was waiting at the door or anything and even when I sat at the to the waiting area, even though I was still waiting on my food, there is still at least four tables open!! I had to wait there for at least ten minutes for my food I ordered and my Uber. I felt it was very unessciary and embarrassing. I felt so rushed and awkward waiting for my Uber (Im not Saudi I don’t have a car here) There was really no need to move at all esp since I seen other families when it was much busier siting, chat and relaxing after they were completely finished.( people were actually at the door waiting for tables) Our plates were just taken when he asked us to move and NOTE we didn’t even receive the check yet. Literally didn’t even finish my coffee never had that experience before.
Made my extremely uncomfortable. Also the tables that were open we not right next to each other so it is not as though we’re preparing for a large party and putting tables together. There was also available...
Read moreThis restaurant is a fantastic spot for a meal with plenty to recommend it. The food was absolutely amazing, with the cheese sour dough being a standout dish, even though we had a slight issue with the egg preparation. The flavours were spot on, making the overall experience highly satisfying.
The decor is modern and sleek, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. It's located in a vibrant area, adding to its appeal. However, parking could be a challenge, as even during quieter times, it was still busy.
Service is primarily through a QR code system at the tables, which sends your order to the counter. While efficient, it could be slightly confusing for first-time visitors, particularly when navigating specific food options. For example, we didn't spot the option to customise the eggs in our shakshuka, which left us with a preparation we didn’t enjoy as much.
The waitstaff were polite and accommodating, although there was a minor hiccup regarding seating. Initially, the waitress was reluctant to let us sit upstairs, though she eventually agreed. While we chose to stay downstairs, some additional training in flexibility and guest preferences might improve the service experience.
One other small downside was the table size; we felt a bit cramped with a small table for five people.
Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended. The food is fantastic, and the experience is enjoyable despite a few minor setbacks. It's worth visiting, especially if you’re a fan of great food in a...
