Egyptian Story Restaurant — Restaurant in Makkah Al Mukarramah

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Egyptian story Makkah, and I can confidently say it was the best Egyptian food I have ever had outside of Egypt. From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality and authentic aromas transported me straight to Cairo.

The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was packed with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The Hammam was as good as any you’d find in downtown Cairo. the molokhia had that signature silky texture with just the right amount of garlic and coriander.

Beyond the incredible food, the service made the experience even more memorable. Khaled and Essam went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and deep knowledge of Egyptian cuisine truly enhanced the dining experience.

I don't like the fact that you have to pay on spot. Prices are expensive. though ground floor is available, we always prefer second floor. However, stairs are very taxing. They should consider and building an elevator. Some starters should come for free and not paid for such as pickles, hot salsa, and tahini. though the staff are very welcoming, it is very difficult to call them when we need them, they should invest in tabel bell calling system, which is very cheap compared to the betterment of the experience and...

I would say, that this is my favorite restaurant so far.

From ambiance to service... and the foood-AMAZING! Brings you to Egypt---closest you can get to trying real egyptian taste.

Waiting time is good during our visit, and even the complimentary bread they serve is great.

We had mixed grilled, lamb chops, molokhia (of course), rice with vermicelli (again, of course 🙄), and a hot plate of beef with liver and sauges... everything was superb.
