Iskender Kebab — Restaurant in Makkah Al Mukarramah

First to say, those people who gave this place 5-stars are one of two, either they are frends and family to the owner or they don't kbow what food is.

I'm staying 50 meters from the place for the moment and have been eating tvice there. Beside the food I allso got melted plastic parts on my fryed potatoes. Probably someone that doesn't know how to open a plastic bag with potatoes so he throw the whole bag in the fryer.

The food is tasting good but the hygiene is catastroficly bad, as in most other restaurants in this holy city. After "clening" the tables thy don't wash the hands before serving you the food and touching the bread!!!

And I don't know why you are so cheap with the fries? People want to get full when they order food for 20 riyal. Give them more then 5 french fries on the plate man!

Ofcourse there is plenty of free bread on the table, but if I want to get full on bread i will buy it cheaper in a supermarket!

Give the people exactly the same portions that you are showing on your meny pictures otherwise it is haram for you! It is like cheating on the scale! You sell one and serve something else! Haraaaaam ya muslim!!!!!

Well, I give you 2-stars just for the sake of the tasty grilled chicken chops,...

Finally, I tried ikender kebab, which was long awaited, Place is small but nice seating arrangements both indoor and outdoor, Outdoor was a good option due to slightly chilled weather, Service is average, waiter got angry bcz we wanted another waiter who could speak hindi, kept giving us grumpy gestures, Food: ordered two Laham Iskender and one chicken ikender with rice, plus Turkish bread with soup, Bread and soup weren't good, especially when you have tried مطعم ترکی "where they give this bread and soup complementary, and the taste is superb, Chicken iskender was good, Laham wasn't good as it was dry and had too much smell of mutton, Can try chicken options next time, Overall...

Wouldn’t give it even one star. Only because I wanted to give this honest review I had to give this one star. Food: no flavour n stale .. less quantity.. staff: rude.. they asked us to get out of the restaurant while we were still eating because it was salah time 🤷‍♀️ WHO DOES THAT??

We tried ordering something more n they directly refused to serve it to us as it was salah time . We asked for fresh bread so the server said “ we don’t have many customers so we don’t make fresh bread every now n then “ 🤣🤣Hahaha

THERE IS NO WASHROOM IN THE RESTAURANT. So ppl with kids or senior citizens avoid .
