Dear Dank Sandwich Team,

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at one of your branches of Rabwah, Jeddah. On 5th June at 6:30 PM, I placed an order and waited for over one hour, only to find that our food never arrived. This occurred while I was with my family and young children, and we were fasting at the time, making the situation even more distressing and unacceptable.

Despite multiple follow-ups with your staff, there was no proper explanation, apology, or urgency shown. The team on duty was unprofessional, unhelpful, and clearly lacked training in customer service. No updates were given, and when asked for assistance or clarity, we were met with dismissive attitudes and complete indifference.

To treat any customer this way is completely unacceptable, but doing so to a family with young children, during a time of fasting, shows a complete lack of empathy and respect. What should have been a simple meal turned into a stressful and frustrating ordeal.

This experience has seriously damaged our trust in your brand, which we previously enjoyed. I strongly urge you to look into this matter and take immediate action to improve staff training, communication, and overall customer service.

I had a satisfying visit to Dank Sandwich recently, and here’s my honest review:

The place has a modern and clean interior, with a well-organized layout. It was pretty busy, especially in the evening, but the overall ambience was still calm and pleasant. The dedicated family section is a thoughtful addition for those who prefer a bit more privacy. Hygiene standards seemed solid across the board, from the dining area to how food was served.

I tried their Crab Shrimp Sandwich Meal with fries and sauces on the side, along with fresh orange juice. The sandwich was creamy and mild in flavor, perfect for those who enjoy classic seafood tastes. Personally, I prefer spicier options, but the freshness and quality of ingredients were evident. The fries were seasoned nicely and complemented the sandwich well. The orange juice was so refreshing, I even took some away the next day.

Waiting time was around 15–20 minutes, which is fair given the crowd.

However, one major downside is parking — it’s really difficult to find a spot nearby, especially during peak hours. This might be inconvenient if you’re driving.

This was our first time trying this place. Took us 45 I knew to get our order. We ordered a Tikka sandwich which was basically salt with some chicken. It was horrible and a disgrace to Tikka in general. It costed 29 sar which is a waste of money. We also got the shrimp sandwich which was good. It costed 31 sar. They gave fries with both which looked like they had good amount of spices but it was bland and tasteless. They gave us just 1 pair of sauces for both sandwiches. We asked why the others were getting a pair of sauces for each sandwich while we get only 1, they said for take aways we only give 1 for 2 sandwiches. Which is absurd! Why do I get charged the same for less service? Then I demanded the sauce and they made me pay 2 sar extra for it.
