I had one of the worst restaurant experiences here, and I feel it's important to share the details.
From the moment I entered, the unprofessionalism was obvious. Loud Punjabi music was blasting from a TV mounted in the kitchen, and the chefs inside were literally dancing and jumping, completely ignoring customers. The reception counter was unmanned, and no one was present to attend or even acknowledge new guests.
There was no menu provided, and when I tried to ask for assistance, the chefs were rude and arrogant, responding dismissively.
What I saw next was shocking: chefs were mixing leftover curries together using a single ladle, clearly with no hygiene or food safety protocols.
I had ordered a chicken biryani, and after placing the order, the manager realized they didn’t even have proper rice. Right in front of me, he handed cash to a helper and asked him to buy plain rice from the restaurant across the street (Kababgee). He casually told the chef, “No problem, we’ll mix it with our masala.”
If I wanted to eat plain rice or kabsa, I could’ve spent 7 SAR at another place—not 15–20 SAR for a so-called “biryani.”
The result? They mixed plain white rice with red-colored rice and masala, topped it with dry, tasteless fried chicken, and served it as “biryani.” It was nothing but rice soaked in artificial coloring—absolutely no flavor, no authenticity.
When I asked for a curry, the chef rudely told me he only had half a portion, even though they were charging for a full one. When I questioned the price difference, the person at the counter simply said, “Ignore him, he’s crazy.” Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible.
To make things worse, the counter staff were also entering the kitchen and mixing gravies themselves, without any food prep hygiene, then attending to customers as if everything was normal.
I saw several families leaving upset, as there was only one table outside on the footpath, set up with a cardboard barrier. Many walked away after long waiting times and poor treatment from staff.
❌ I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s not just a bad meal—it’s a complete lack of ethics, hygiene, and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this Pakistani Punjabi restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The star dishes for me were the biryani and chicken tikka masala – both full of rich, authentic flavors that took me straight to the streets of Lahore.
The biryani was perfectly spiced – aromatic basmati rice layered with tender, juicy meat and just the right amount of heat. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it was clear the chef knows how to balance the spices beautifully.
The chicken tikka masala was equally impressive. The chicken was perfectly grilled with a smoky, charred flavor, then served in a creamy, buttery tomato-based sauce that was deeply satisfying. It paired so well with the warm, freshly made naan.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting – great for families or a casual dinner out.
If you're looking for a truly authentic Punjabi food experience, this place is a must-visit. Highly...
