Disappointed by the Service – Despite Delicious Food

We recently dined at Baytoti and, while the food itself was absolutely delicious, our overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor and discriminatory service.

We were the only non-local guests at the time, and it was clear we were being treated differently. While all other tables were served with proper metal cutlery, we were given disposable plastic ones, which felt inappropriate and disrespectful in a dine-in setting.

We ordered a simple dish—plain noodles and chicken—but the waiter, Mark, insisted it was only available for takeaway. Eventually, he brought it to our table in a foil takeaway box, while other diners received their meals properly plated.

When we questioned him about the disposable cutlery while paying, he casually claimed that they had run out of metal cutlery—which was hard to believe, as we saw several groups who arrived after us being served with full metal cutlery.

Despite the excellent taste of the food, we left feeling disappointed, unwelcome, and unfairly treated. Baytoti should ensure that all customers, regardless of background, receive equal and respectful service. Good food deserves to be paired with equally good...

I ordered home delivery. Beef Chili and Garlic Fried rice which costed me 70 riayls, but to my surprise the Garlic Rice dish was literally half filled ! I mean it wasn’t even enough for 1 person. Your rates are a bit on the higher side but the quantity didn’t do justice at all. This means a lot. I mean if i had the chance to drive to that branch and show them the quantity of the rice yet sadly I couldn’t. This is NOT right at all !! And by going through 1 star reviews of this particular branch it seems the management isn’t doing anything to improve the Hospitality and value for money. Although since its a review the Beef Chili was very tasty beef was nicely cut and was well cooked with flavor and Spice well balanced enjoyed that though but as i said in the end i had finished my rice ate the beef chili without rice. Staff was kind and the ambience of restuarant was fine , food was alright but there's definitely room for improvement. The serving quantity was less comparing to the price paid for it. Order:

1. beef szechuan-- 3/5 , better than the rest of the dishes; it was super crispy and taste was fine but beef was on the dry side.
2. Vegetable fried noodles -- 3.5/5 , was also relatively better. Well cooked
3. Vegetable fried rice -- 2.5/5, it was just normal Vegetable rice dish, nothing much special.
