I dont know where to start to be quite honest!
Will do my best to cover the whole experience step by step:
Welcoming: Rude way to ask guest whom already booked a table to wait.... without even asking the reservation name! It went to the extenet where i was asked 3 times to wait and what's it!
Minimum charge! Despite the explicit laws that says otherwise, they do charge a minimum SR200 per person!
Taking orders: Waiters just throw any recos and that's all! They don't even ask if you have any preferences, meat, chicken, veggies.... nothing! Plus all waiters seem bored and in a hurry to take orders (because food is already cooked, will come to this point in a bit).
Food: We ordered rips, stake, lamb leg..... so meats all in all. NO ONE ASKED HOW WE WANTED MEAT COOKED! Everything was served COLD. Never in my life i had cold meat dishes, especially when i go to a speciality meat house!
In fact, everything was microwave heated. In one order, we found a finger size piece of fork plastic! I asked for the chef, a waiter came, they i reasked for the chef, the lebanese manager came to say the wonder: "i dont know what to say but we are sorry!"...... COME ON.
At this exact point, where all dishes were almost consumed, the salad finally came. Why, because all meats were pre cooked and only micowave heated, so it literally took them less time to prepare meats than house salad!
Drinks, please dont make me explode here, all of them are 90% syrup and 10% soft drinks with a piece of lemon at the top.
Music, too loud to the extent you cant talk to the person next to you.
Shisha, the only "ok" thing in this place but extremely over priced.
Sweets, we didnt dare to take this step given the above experience.
I asked for food with no Mayonnaise, yet most sides were full of ranch sauce (which is mostly mayonnaise), so they dont know their foods!
Not a recommended place. Way over priced, bad service, and bad food :(

I came to the place since it has a good reputation for the name. I unfortunately was disappointed for obvious reasons that are easily to be avoided.
Number one mistake made by the owner; and apparently; there is no Focus on the kind of service that is provided. Is it Shisha or food. You have to realize that U CANNOT DO BOTH. It is either this or that. Most of the staff focus is on Shisha off course. We understand that it brings money much easier than food. But come on ya man, it is The Chef Steakhouse not the Shisha House.
Staff was confused and missed our order. They were conflicting between each other. One of them came to us saying that he didn’t see one of our order on the note, we responded “ we did, go and check with your colleague”.
There was random people serving us and please don’t say that we aren’t thankful for that because it is not fair for any. Such a situation would confuse the customer on whom to give the tip and confuse the servers themselves on whom to blame if a mistake is made.
The menu needs to be adjusted or explained to the waiters. The waiter said that Beef escalada “ I guess “ comes with Cozy 🤔, which it was kabab on a fancy, hanging sheesh, then it came with Freak. It was a total nonsense, the description and the taste.
The food temperature was like “ I am not even heated up” and we had to ask the waiters to take couple of our orders and heat them up

The service here was so special honestly. “Asim” was taking care of us. His food recommendations made our experience perfect. He knows what he is talking about. The service was fast and all the staff was professional. We ordered “Aish billaham” and it was out of stock as a full portion so he served the last two pieces as a complementary from the restaurant! It was one of the best services I have seen in Jeddah. I can’t be thankful enough. On the other hand, the food is delicious and I recommend “Espitada beef” with “Jareesh” as a side. The jareesh is outstanding. "Chef's Fatteh" is really good if you like eggplants, potatoes, and “Miro Kabab” with “Tahini” sauce on top.
