GULF MADINA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Makkah Region

First time to visit (dated: 24th Nov 2023) for a dinner. *Place is cosy and clean. Seats are at a lower level than table but nothing that matter much. *Nice and welcoming staffs. Polite and humble. The menu has Pakistani, Indian, Italian and Chinese cuisine. *Food. We ordered mutton kolhapuri / Singaporean Rice / a BBQ platter (as per him was for 3 ppl) / a club sandwich / Some salad with chicken pcs inside/Kashmiri and Garlic naan 🫓2 pcs each/ Cheesecake 2 pcs and I finished off with a cup of ☕ tea. Total bill abt 174/=. Taste: Mutton K was nothing out of ordinary; Singaporean Rice 🍚, well we have had better, BBQ platter was ok. Naans of course stole the show. C/cake - better off without it (try local desi sweets-i think they'd be good or more better than our c/cake). Club sandwich, my kid enjoyed it. The salad was also liked by all. Tea was good. Serving is tad a bit smaller in amount. But.....it was a good experience, and will definitely go for a second time if there. Will try some other items or may be stick to local...

Met friends for lunch. The place is clean and has seating for about 20 people. My husband and I shared orders of sesame chicken, szechuan chicken, and vegetable friend rice. All of the dishes were very tasty. Portions are enough for a single person, but not large quantities.

I would recommend the restaurant for Chinese food.

There are many other options on the menu. Our friends ordered various curry dishes.

All the food came out at one time and was hot.

Ask for prices before you order, the price that they ask you to pay is not the same as the menu.

We noticed an extra 30% compared to the price on the menu. When we asked for clarification, he said these are new prices. We told him that he should have informed us in advance and that he should update the menu...
