The owner must understand merely putting fancy interiors and furniture's not going to help restaurant business. Of course spacious dining area with privacy, clean toilets is good but there are something called intangible things in service industry.
we went there and seated for more than 10 mins no one attended us, only after we ask the cashier he informs us that we need to order through QR code and the items will be delivered to you, Note: its not mentioned anywhere in the restaurant(may be they mentioned in Arabic, but since its a Indian cuisine translation could've helped us). ok fine, but plates are not served before bringing dishes, then the server provided only one glass for 3 persons.
Finally the most horrible thing is, we had some left over items I asked him to make parcel, what the server did was shocking he just bring the packing container and one plastic bag and said do it yourself, I've never experienced this in any restaurant. Service wise very worst experience, for the price they are charging for their food it should be more...
Read moreCurry Leaf is an Indian restaurant in Madinah that offers a clean, pleasant dining environment with a comfortable seating area and a dedicated family section upstairs, which makes it convenient for families looking for privacy. The interior is simple but well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed enough for both quick meals and slightly longer gatherings.
The service here is notably prompt and courteous, with staff attentive to requests and food usually arriving without long waits. The menu has a good variety of Indian dishes, and the flavors are authentic and satisfying. However, while the taste is generally good, the portion sizes feel a little on the smaller side compared to the price. The restaurant is slightly more expensive than similar establishments, so diners may feel the value for money could be improved.
Location-wise, it is not within walking distance from the Haram. Guests staying nearby will need to take a car or taxi to reach it. There is some free parking available on the main road, but during peak hours it can be difficult to find a spot.
Overall, Curry Leaf provided us with a decent dining experience. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it also didn’t leave a lasting impression, and we are unlikely to return...

Food: Food is above average. Biriyani was named as indian - but did not feel much, but was good.
Service is horrible, the restaurant was very less occupied, and we needed to wait long for somebody to come and have a look. The attitude is not at all welcoming. We had decided to step off without having anything but just stayed as the kids where hungry. When we had some food leftover we requested for packing the same - they gave 2 boxes and told us to pack😂
Ambience is good. Its well furnished and clean. Parking is available in the front,...
