MONDE RESTAURANT — Restaurant in undefined

I visited the restaurant at 5:30 PM, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The restaurant was almost empty, yet there was no one at the reception to greet customers. To my surprise, the supervisor was sitting and eating at a table, leaving us to enter and find a seat on our own.

When we selected a table by the window for two, which was not marked as reserved, the receptionist approached us with an unnecessarily authoritative attitude, insisting that the table was reserved. I fail to understand what authority this individual believes they hold to treat customers in such a manner. This level of disrespect toward guests is unacceptable(twble not marked as reserved)

Despite its high rating, Monde fell short of expectations. While the food was undeniably delicious, the overall experience left much to be desired. The service felt awkward and lacked the attentiveness expected from a restaurant that presents itself as fine dining — especially given the inflated prices compared to other breakfast spots in Alahsa. Simple details, like asking how I would like my eggs cooked, were overlooked. Additionally, the atmosphere was let down by poor restroom maintenance, which didn’t reflect the restaurant’s upscale image. One staff member took my name and phone number without even inquiring about my experience, missing an opportunity to address any concerns. ‏exceeded all expectations! The ambiance was exquisite, offering a cozy and upscale atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive specially Mr. Rashed, making sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. The menu was diverse and the food was simply outstanding. Each dish was skillfully prepared, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was prompt and efficient, ensuring that we had a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, this restaurant truly stands out for its exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and inviting atmosphere.
