Food was below average!
This wasn't an authentic Indian food experience. Flavours were bland. We ordered Pani Puri, Chicken Samosa, Coconut mutton curry and Bamboo stick biryani.
The Pani puri tasted old & didn't taste good.
The chicken Samosa wasn't flavourful, there were no spices.
Coconut mutton curry was okay but meat was very little. There were about 3-4 really tiny mutton cubes. The butter naan was good but the cheese naan was aweful.
Bamboo stick biryani wasn't flavourful as well. Meat was very very less. We didn't even eat half of it.
For the amount of money, one would expect one person's worth of meat at the least. The meat for both coconut mutton curry and the biryani combined wouldn't add up to one person's worth of meat that you'd normally get in other restaurants here in Riyadh.
The restaurant seems to focus a lot on presentation of the food than the taste of it.

Read moreI gave this a 1 because there isn't a negative value otherwise I would have given it that. The place has no atmosphere at all, dead! The waiter serving us couldn't communicate with us. The food was terrible; go here only if you have no idea whatsoever what Indian food should taste like. The food has loads of food colouring and tastes similar. For the price you pay, you get hardly any meat/chicken pieces. The prices are extortionate for what you get. A half riyal bottle of water costs sr5!! The whole experience was terrible. We walked out and went elsewhere to eat! I wasted my money. Advice to the owner, get yourself a new chef and stop cheating customers. This is the second restaurant in my life that I've walked out of; it was that terrible. Recommended? Definitely A BIG FAT NO, GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO A MORE...
Read moreFinally found a place after 4 years that hits the Anglo-Indian curry house. Isse was like being at home in London, possibly the best service ive had in a restaurant in 4 years, and Khaled was a joy too.
Food is served in a novel way as you'd expect in Riyadh, but all dishes were excellent. Nice to see Pani Puri on the menu.
Food is good value compared to the other upper end venues in town. Much more flavour. Breads were excellent. Even a simple Biriyani rice was top notch.
Well recommend especially if looking for a curry house like you'd find at home in the UK (minus chitzy wallpaper and music). Oh and...
