I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Food House Restaurant & Lounge, and it was a wonderfully delightful experience! From the second you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting, warm, and favorable atmosphere that just sets the bar of your experience high.

Although the location is a little unusual, in my opinion traveling there for the food and experience is surely worth it!

The menu is very impressive and is a multi-cuisine and offers multiple tastes including Turkish, Italian, and Continental, as well as authentic Chinese and Thai food.

Each bite just bursts full of flavor consisting of the perfect measure of spices, seasonings, and only the freshest ingredients and herbs that will leave you craving for more. Food is cooked to perfection with so much attention to detail. Portions were generous and will leave you satisfied at the end of the meal.

The staff was very attentive, friendly, kind, and very welcoming! They ensured that from start to end, our dining experience was made very pleasurable.

The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasantly unique and one of a kind, as shown in the pictures below. Very well-maintained, clean, cozy, and overall spectacular interior and decor.

The bathrooms were very clean and modern too!

Overall, the experience was wonderful and definitely unforgettable. Will certainly visit again!

I’d heard a lot about this place and finally visited—but while the ambiance and staff were great, the food fell short for my taste buds.

Location & Parking

Finding the restaurant was tricky! It’s tucked behind a car repair market, and parking is a hassle. Thankfully, the staff was helpful in guiding us to a spot.

Ambiance

No complaints here—it’s spacious with plenty of seating. Families will love the private cabins (some even have dedicated screens for kids’ cartoons). The decor, hangings, and overall vibe were excellent.

Food Review

Unfortunately, the food didn’t impress me. Here’s what we tried:

Biryani (2/10) Cashew nuts in biryani? Unusual and not in a good way. Missing the classic biryani aroma and flavor—spices were barely there.

Chicken Grilled Steak (5/10) No option to choose sides—stuck with veggies and mashed potato. Presentation was nice, but the meat lacked salt and basic seasoning.

Chicken Wontons (6/10) More crunch than meat—filling was disappointingly small.

Chicken Strips (7/10) The best of the lot, but still nothing extraordinary.

French Fries Unseasoned and bland—just salt would’ve helped!

Service & Presentation

Staff were energetic, quick, and attentive. Crockery and plating were top-notch—dishes looked great even if they didn’t always taste great.
