Right opposite the Dirab 14 Bus station on the opposite side sits this restaurant. Very convenient if you take the No 12 BRT, from Ali bin Abitalib bus depot. Or from Khaldiya 22. Deciding to try it out we were ushered upstairs into enclosed family cubicles. The staff were very friendly, quick, respectful and accommodative. The service was quick. We ordered seafood mushroom soup, Tandoori roti, Dhal Tarka and Tandoori chicken on a bed of grilled lettuce. The soup was super delicious. The roti was fine. The Chicken was infused with colour and masala and was marinaded, yet not grilled well. The top was done, the bottom was boiled not grilled. Served sizzling hot on a hot grill, yet only the top was well done! The dhall was oily, lacked salt and was tasteless. The prices were exorbitant and not worth the salt. It's OK for Soup, dessert and light appetisers is my guess, not a heavy meal plan. What put everything off was the washroom!!! The taps were ancient and not very clean. Needed to use the loo, as it was cold. Ugh! Don't even venture there. It was filthy, not flushed and felt nauseous!!! Didn't use it. I'm surprised the Baladiya doesn't do random checks!!! Whilst dining flys were roaming, one or two though. Overall I won't be returning, not with the taste of food, hygiene and prices! They could do better for the customers. The Soup and Staff are the positive vibes. Quite and experience. We visited 2-3 weeks ago...

Read moreWith my 30 years of experience in Mughlai cuisine around the world, I can say this is my third horrible experience, either the chef is not a chef , or he is not of the indian continent, or both. The chicken biryani has no biryani spices, it is just coloured rice, and the rice is not cooked properly, the bhindi masala has no spices at all and the aubergine dish same , all the food was bland tasteless and has no identity. A BIG WASTE OF...
