A Flavorful Feast at Taj Mahal Restaurant in Tabuk
On my recent visit to Taj Mahal Restaurant in Tabuk, I had the pleasure of indulging in a selection of their finest dishes. Here’s a glimpse of my delightful culinary experience.
Ambiance and Service
The restaurant’s ambiance was warm and inviting, adorned with traditional Indian decor that set a cozy and exotic tone for the evening. The service was exceptional, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff. A special mention goes to Mr. Mohammed Javed and Mr. Mohammed Faruk, who ensured we had a memorable dining experience with their prompt and courteous service.
The Dishes
Chicken 65 Our meal began with Chicken 65, a popular Indian appetizer. The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and tender inside. It was well-spiced, providing a flavorful kick that awakened our taste buds.
Mutton Biryani Next, we savored the Mutton Biryani. The dish was aromatic, with perfectly cooked rice and tender pieces of mutton. The blend of spices was balanced, making each bite a delightful explosion of flavors. The biryani was accompanied by a cooling raita, which complemented the richness of the dish.
Chicken Biryani We also tried the Chicken Biryani, which did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the rice was infused with a fragrant mix of spices. This dish was a hit, showcasing the restaurant’s ability to master classic Indian cuisine.
Tandoori Chicken The Tandoori Chicken was another highlight. Marinated in a blend of yogurt and spices, the chicken was cooked to perfection in a traditional tandoor oven. It had a smoky flavor with a succulent texture, making it a standout dish of the evening.
Garlic Butter Naan To accompany our main courses, we had Garlic Butter Naan. The naan was soft and buttery, with a delightful garlic flavor that paired well with the rich curries and biryanis.
The Drinks
Lemon Mint Juice For drinks, we started with the Lemon Mint Juice. It was refreshing and tangy, with a hint of mint that provided a perfect palate cleanser between bites of the rich and spicy food.
Oreo Milkshake We also tried the Oreo Milkshake, which was creamy and indulgent. It had a rich, chocolaty flavor with crunchy bits of Oreo, making it a delightful treat.
Vanilla Milkshake Lastly, the Vanilla Milkshake was smooth and delicious, with a classic vanilla taste that was both comforting and satisfying.

Read moreI'm absolutely disspointed and surprised to finally findout that this place is highly overrated in Tabuk, yet serves Biriyani that does not have any taste at all.
Here's what we ordered;
"Blue Lagoon Mojito and Virgin Mojito" (16sar/each) - This has a good taste with lemon and mint and the serving size is appreciated.
Chicken Mara Mara" - This is the only reason I gave atleast 2 stars for the food. In fact I would recommend this delicious Chicken curry to anyone who likes a spicy authentic taste.
"Hydrabad Chicken Biriyani (30sar)" - The presentation was the only good thing about this . Rice was overcooked and no taste at all. Absolutely unexpected.
Additionally the "Garlic Naan" had hardly any garlic.
This restaurant has an unparalleled ambience yet it has failed to serve the food upto the expected standard. This is a personal opinion shared with the intention of sharing customer feedback. I hope that they would take this into concern and improve...

⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: The restaurant has a pleasant and clean environment, making it a comfortable place to dine.
⭐⭐⭐ Staff: The staff is cooperative and attentive, providing good service.
⭐ Taste: The taste of the food was extremely disappointing. The biryani was flavorless, making it an unenjoyable dish. I am the type of person who finishes the plate no matter how bad the food is, but this biryani completely raised my expectations of how bad food can be. The chicken karahi had a lot of fake color on it, which is still on my hands. The addition of shimla mirch (capsicum) was unconventional and unappetizing. Who the hell is the chef?
⚠️ Note: Be cautious of the reviews you see online; it seems that many of them are paid and not trustworthy. My experience did not align with the overwhelmingly positive feedback found in...
