Western Road Steak & Grill — Restaurant in Tabuk Province

Today, I tried the Western Road Steak & Grill restaurant. I will be completely honest and write my review with love. This restaurant has the most delicious ribs I have ever tried. Their fries are also amazing; they add some irresistible spices to them. However, there are some flaws that I hope they fix.

First, there was no host at the entrance to greet and guide the guests. I had to enter and search until someone, who I think was a manager and was not wearing a uniform, helped me. As for the waiters, they were very respectful and polite, but none of them asked if I had any food allergies. However, I must admit that the waiter brought nachos when I asked about starters.

I ordered a ribeye steak, and it was just average for me. It wasn't served hot, which was very annoying. I also ordered French fries, which were very tasty but also cold. I ordered BBQ ribs as well, and they were delicious as I mentioned earlier. However, I don't understand why they had a mountain of green onions on them!

I also ordered loaded mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese , which is my usual order at steak restaurants. They brought it twice, and they got my order wrong the first time. Finally, when I was full, they adjusted my order. I want to thank all the waitstaff, Mr. Alexander, and the friendly Saudi lady. Our visit to Western Road Steak and Grill in Tabuk was nothing short of outstanding. From the warm atmosphere to the impeccable service, everything about this place left a lasting impression on us. We started our meal with the French Onion Soup, and it set the tone perfectly. Rich, savory, and deeply flavorful, topped with a generous layer of melted cheese – it was comfort in a bread bowl🥣🤤😊 A perfect balance of sweetness from the caramelized onions and depth from the broth made it an absolute standout. For the main course, we went with the Beef Brisket Grande Sandwich – and wow, it was phenomenal. Tender, smoky, and full of bold flavour, it practically melted in our mouths. Cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning and a mouthwatering glaze. To round out the meal, we ordered the Loaded Baked Potato, and it did not disappoint. It came packed with cheese, – a hearty and satisfying side that paired beautifully with the brisket. The overall presentation, taste, and quality of the food were top-tier. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. Western Road Steak and Grill is definitely a gem in Tabuk. Whether you're in the mood for a cozy dinner or looking to treat yourself to some seriously delicious food, this place should be at the top of your list. We’ll definitely be coming...

After spending a week in Tabuk during Ramadan, I was getting a little tired of the buffet in the hotel, so I decided to take a taxi.

I doubt it's accessible for wheelchairs but you go up a large spiraling staircase, and it then felt you were in Montana. I'm definitely trying to capture that vibe, and with a couple of places to take your picture to look like you were in the wild west, I knew this place felt fun.

It wasn't very busy when I went, just a large family celebrating a birthday and later the staff presented them with a cake and sang. It did not feel forced like I've seen other places and the staff was having fun.

Even with the large family, I was taken care of attentively and did not feel overburdened or rushed.

The ribeye was excellent, maybe a little too fatty for some, but the portion was correct and cooked perfectly to my request.

Staff was very caring, when they brought out the Lava cake, it had "pre-exploded" and they were going to bring another. Silly, it tasted great!

My only "issue" is they did not take Amex, which my company uses, so i had to go out of pocket. Also, if you're from the USA, consider getting a SIM card with a Saudi number. It will help with delivery apps, and I could have paid that way. E-SIM won't work.

If you get a chance go to this restaurant. It's very close to feeling like I was back...
