Les tortues pondeuses — Restaurant in Arrondissement de Sindia

I have been twice to the beach North of the La Somone Lagune and have eaten in a number of restaurants during my stays. The Tortues Pondeuses is by far the best place to eat. It is calm and relaxed. You can stay the whole day on beds in the shade with sea view, if you so wish. It has splendid views of the sea and you can spend hours watching the birds dip in and out of the water. The fish is fresh catch from the night before and outstandingly prepared. Vous pouvez vous rendre à la Lagune de la Somone, la traverser en pirogue et vous installer pénard sous les paillotes pour y déguster de bons fruits de mer... Mais si vous décidez de marcher un peu plus loin, le long de la plage en direction de Guéreo, en parcourant 4 à 500m, vos efforts seront récompensés par le très généreux accueil de Djibril et son collègue Matar...quelle gentillesse!!! J'ai bourlingué dans pas mal de continents et jamais je n'avais mangé si délicieuse Langouste...sortie fraîchement des casiers installés en plein océan à un jet de pierre du rivage. Ouhah! Ouhah! Quel goût...légèrement salé naturellement. En effet la plupart des langoustes que l'on peut manger en bien d'autres endroits transitent par un aquarium d'eau douce ou les tréfonds de congélateurs...et cela n'a décidément rien à voir du tout, du tout à ce que vous proposera Djibril. Cet hôte courageux, habité d'une extrême patience, respectera vos exigences de temps de cuisson mérite bien la confiance des gourmets qui ne s'effrayeront pas d'un tout petit quart d'heure de balade!!! I don't usually leave reviews but this restaurant fantastic. I was there with my two children and we on multiple days we enjoyed cold drinks and freshly caught and cooked food. After lunch there is shady area to lay and chill or nap. The WC area is perfectly clean. Thanks to Djibril/Gabriel for such nice memories. Stay for a while and...
