We had the “capitaine” with rice and vegetables, it was possibly some of the best fish I’ve ever had an I’m a fisherman. It was a big portion for a very good price and Mr. Boum was very friendly and the food came out fast. If you are in the area you should definitely eat here.

We had a tasty lunch at Chez Boum (tasty Oysters as a starter and monkfish with vegetables as a main). He and his son very very friendly and the service was quick. We met him later again at the pier and he helped us by taking a picture.

A perfect local place in the shade for lunch or later. A friendly owner serving super chilled drinks on a hot day, home made plates du jour, cooked fresh & tasty. Got a lovely, chilled mango for dessert 😋

Tried to be scammed by the owner, I ordered a dish (2500) and 2 cola. The bill was 5000 so i asked him to tell me the price of the cola, he couldn't figure out how much a cola should be to match those 5000 so he did something in the calculator and told me 4000. I paid but it was even expensive. Next time go to Chez...

This is an amazing wonderful small restaurant. Do not expect an extensive menue or fancy surroundings. Do expect a wonderful home style cooked meal served by a gracious host. I had the best fish at Chez Boums during our three weeks in Senegal. It maybe advisable to let them know you are coming...
