Decided to break my bus journey here and the mafe with beef and yam was so so good! Cheap price too. The interior is a bit dated but atmospheric in my opinion. It was empty but staff was listening to music and singing along! Good vibes. Thanks for watching my bag!

Buscábamos donde comer y preguntando en la calle, cerca del río, un señor nos guió con su coche hasta este restaurante.Hemos comido un pescado con arroz riquísimos, era el plato del día "plat du jour" por 2.500 cefas. Las mujeres que nos atendieron fueron muy amables, siempre sonriendo e intentando comunicarse ya que no hablamos francés. Además, nos ayudaron con el alojamiento, tuvimos que llamar a uno para preguntar si tenían disponibilidad y ellas hicieron de traductoras. Sin duda, 100% recomendable si pasas por Ziguinchor.

J'ai aimé le cadre du restaurant le Kassa et la décoration, malheureusement la commande a été lente. Nous avons commandé du poisson braisé qui n'était pas du tout assaisonné, aucun goût. Heureusement que le jus de bouye qui accompagnait le plat était bien fait sinon déception totale. Pour ce qui est des prix;c'est assez raisonnable. La prochaine fois je commanderai un autre plat pour tester le goût.

Terribly overpriced for what it is. They charged us 3,600 CFA for two instant coffees and a bottle of water. To give you some idea, in other places which are just as good, drinks cost from 100 to 500 (for hard alcohol) CFA. 3,500 CFA is the starter price for a meal. The food was okay, but at 7,500 CFA a portion it was also twice the price as in other places where food is actually better. The staff was a bit sloppy and uncaring. Overall, not recommended. There're better, nicer and definitely cheaper places in Ziguinchor. The interior design is great though. The wood carvings...
