I am not a regular guest here, but I did visited the place quite a few times, for the last 10-12 years. If you want to treat your family, or a friend, with some great meal, in perfect atmosphere, and get served just the right way - do not think twice! Here you will will find it all, within true traditional enterior, and even a great space at the outside.
The staff is excellent. They get as professional as one can be, but also can make you feel among friends. Of course, your glass will never stay empty, and even if you make an order after the seventh rakia, they will know exactly what you need, and serve it on time.
I do not know an english word for SUCH (a pottery dish with a top, that lets food cook slowly, until meat falls appart, and soaks all the juice inside). Unfortunatelly, it became a trend to fast-boil a meal, put it in a such for a while (to pick up some aroma and slight crisp) - and serve it as an original such meal. Read moreThis traditional Serbian restaurant was a bit away from downtown Belgrade, but is definitely worth the trip. We started the evening with some very nice Rakija, and some fresh bread. Besides having a warm fire next to us, we had a full restaurant with a fun ambiance with traditional music playing.
Our first course was filled with sliced local charcuterie, some beef, pork, and local cheese. The Kimak was especially fantastic!
