This traditional Serbian restaurant was a bit away from downtown Belgrade, but is definitely worth the trip. We started the evening with some very nice Rakija, and some fresh bread. Besides having a warm fire next to us, we had a full restaurant with a fun ambiance with traditional music playing. Our first course was filled with sliced local charcuterie, some beef, pork, and local cheese. The Kimak was especially fantastic! Second course was very filling; lovely braised veal and braised pork (we tried both) that came with roasted potatoes and Kimak melting over top... Yum! Paired with pickled vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage etc), it was an incredible meal served authentic Serbian!

In Cedić's restaurant, besides the built-in spirit of the domestic atmosphere provided by its hosts, even more pleasant surroundings make a menu that abounds with local specialties stored in old recipes. Serving projica and homemade cheese, which serve as an introduction to gourmet cuisine, is still traditionally applied as a welcome to guests who are always happy to return. You will also enjoy excellent meatballs, veal under the honeycomb, barbecue, traditionally cooked meals, home-made desserts

Gem of a restaurant, with the most charming ambience, great service and even better food. Very cost friendly, in my experience the best restaurant in Belgrade regarding the quality price ratio. You don't need to look at the menu, the gentlemen waiters will take you through it and bear in mind that the portions are huge. Overall, splendid place !

I am not a regular guest here, but I did visited the place quite a few times, for the last 10-12 years. If you want to treat your family, or a friend, with some great meal, in perfect atmosphere, and get served just the right way - do not think twice! Here you will will find it all, within true traditional enterior, and even a great space at the outside.

The staff is excellent. They get as professional as one can be, but also can make you feel among friends. Of course, your glass will never stay empty, and even if you make an order after the seventh rakia, they will know exactly what you need, and serve it on time.

I do not know an english word for SUCH (a pottery dish with a top, that lets food cook slowly, until meat falls appart, and soaks all the juice inside). Unfortunatelly, it became a trend to fast-boil a meal, put it in a such for a while (to pick up some aroma and slight crisp) - and serve it as an original such meal. This a fraud that I cannot forgive to anyone. Sorry, but a dog is not a lamb, and a no hi-tech device can emulate a true-love kiss. It is a shame people as devoted to excellence decided to take SUCH a...

Čedić is an authentic Serbian national restaurant that offers a truly unique dining experience in Belgrade. Known for its warm ambiance and traditional decor, the restaurant captures the essence of Serbian culture and hospitality.

One of their standout dishes is the "kulus sa butkicom" (pork knuckle with sauerkraut), a perfect representation of hearty, comforting Serbian cuisine. Another must-try is the "Čedić pljeskavica" (spiced beef patty with garlic), which delivers bold flavors and a deliciously juicy...
